本片用苏东坡在杭州的一个个故事，结合当时的时代背景，描绘出苏东坡谦虚、乐观、睿智的形象，也展现了北宋时期杭州的风土人情，从古到今，传承文脉千年的风采。
Su Dongpo was a renowned literary figure of the Northern Song Dynasty.Based on Su Dongpo’s two terms in Hangzhou, Legendary Su Dongpo highlighting his work on seawalls, dredging West Lake, improving livelihoods, resolving disputes, and fighting corruption. The film also captures his secret visits, love for fine food, philosophical musings, poetry, and art, painting a vivid portrait of his multifaceted character.
Through a series of stories about Su Dongpo in Hangzhou, combined with the historical context of the time, this film depicts his humble, optimistic, and sagacious character. It also showcases the local customs and traditions of Hangzhou during the Northern Song Dynasty, carrying forward the legacy of a cultural heritage that has spanned millennia, from ancient times to the present.
