In a chess and card room on a rainy night, a down-and-out novelist tells a story about a young woman being murdered. It is based on the recent suicide of a neighbor anchor Xiao Ai. Three poker friends denounce Wu Yi for being ruthless, but they find that there is another hidden story behind the incident. Xiao Ai was really murdered, and the murderer is among the four.
